Maybe that's a way to keep the bots away.

Hundreds of children are currently being held with their parents at an immigration detention center in Dilley, Texas. In letters and drawings, eight kids convey the pain of feeling trapped with no end in sight. https://t.co/d74IPKyafe pic.twitter.com/Go6pdOgpaL

Time to find out the story is fake,
10.......9.......8.......7......
This is appalling and I hope cuts through to the 'heritage American' types who otherwise could care less about due process for immigrants:

The Irish guy in ICE detention reminds me of the scene in the Daniel Day Lewis film, In the Name of the Father, when imprisoned IRA man Joe McAndrew goes to speak with Smalls, leader of the Protestant gang in the prison:
McAndrew: "If anything happens to me, or Gerry, or any other Irish prisoner, we'll have 54 Halsey Road, blown to smithereens with your family in it.
Smalls: You threaten my family, I'll cut your f@ucking head off.
McAndrew: I don't make threats, I just carry out orders. I don't want to hurt your family."

BREAKING: Los Angeles based federal judge Christina Snyder (Clinton appointee) has blocked California from enforcing its law that requires ICE agents to unmask, arguing the law discriminates against the federal government by singling it out, and it violates the Supremacy Clause.

The California courts never had jurisdiction over ICE with regard to that issue. They could have just ignored the state court order and there would have been no consequences. It was solely a toothless symbolic gesture.

A toothless symbolic gesture coming from the California Legislature and Gavin Newsom? Perish the thought.
That said, there ought to be a federal law prohibiting masked law enforcement officials. Only Batman should be able to get away with that.
Congressional Democratic leaders are asking ICE to agree to reforms, promising to vote for $11 billion in funding for the agency if it does so. ICE has every reason to concede to the demands — then ignore them once the funding bill passes. https://t.co/7lLn95KCyl

You do understand that 79 being held for over two years would mean they were there for nearly a year under Biden?
Give credit where credit is due
0.1% were held by Biden. The magat brain at work, folks.

He overstayed a tourist visa for 20 years. Was given a court hearing and the district court denied his petition for a stay of deportation. He contested deportation, so he is being detained. If he doesn't contest deportation, he can return to Ireland which is his home country.

Calling it right now:
This is not the kind of guy that a majority of Americans would want deported. A guy who has lived here a long time, is married to an American, and is running his own business. Seems like someone who should get a fast track to citizenship or permanent residency. Most people definitely don't think he should be sitting in concentration camp conditions indefinitely.

Probably shouldn't call Club Fed a concentration camp.
