Those who are working in jobs for pay of which you speak, are usually not committing these types of felony crimes. They are here to make enough money to support their families, living either here or in their home country. I've known a number of these people. They are mostly the kind of immigrant that America has traditionally wanted to welcome to this country. Many want to work here, raise a family here, and become citizens. They would be low-hanging fruit for Donald Trump, because you can see them in front of plants or stores where they might be able to solicit work, or you can see many of them openly working at construction sites, and it would be the easiest of all groups to arrest and charge with violating our laws. Unlike some of our previous Presidents, who executed raids against construction sites, food processing plants, mostly for political gain, so they could say they were dealing with the illegal immigration problem, not to mention our legislators who passed laws against private citizens for hiring illegal immigrants.

Trump is doing what he said he would do. It is only the Trump supporters who lied to themselves because they didn't want to consider themselves the un-American fascists that they are who said Trump would do differently. Trump said he would criminalize and deport legal residents all along. Some Trump supporters still can't admit it to themselves.

Those who are working in jobs for pay of which you speak, are usually not committing these types of felony crimes. They are here to make enough money to support their families, living either here or in their home country. I've known a number of these people. They are mostly the kind of immigrant that America has traditionally wanted to welcome to this country. Many want to work here, raise a family here, and become citizens. They would be low-hanging fruit for Donald Trump, because you can see them in front of plants or stores where they might be able to solicit work, or you can see many of them openly working at construction sites, and it would be the easiest of all groups to arrest and charge with violating our laws. Unlike some of our previous Presidents, who executed raids against construction sites, food processing plants, mostly for political gain, so they could say they were dealing with the illegal immigration problem, not to mention our legislators who passed laws against private citizens for hiring illegal immigrants.
Trump is more interested in getting the bad guys out of here. I would bet that he will offer amnesty to many who have jobs and/or pay taxes here, but that will be later. Not now. Now we need to get the bad actors among the immigrants the hell out of here, to back from where they came.
The felony crimes are a ruse . It's always the same- majority coming here for a better life and willing to work harder than "Americans"
As for illegal immigrants willing to work harder, I can't speak for all of them, but I have known some. As a construction engineer for huge projects to small, I have witnessed them work, and have worked alongside them. I used to say the average illegal Latino construction worker could do the work of 3 American workers, and probably the work of 5 Union workers, and maybe 10 government workers. Big city government workers being the slowest laziest of all. IMO.
Hard-working illegals often get robbed on the street by other illegals who are criminals. One of the biggest fears of the illegal worker is that the often illegal contractor who hired them will run off at or near the end of the job, disappearing, while still owing the worker lots of back wages. They prefer working for an American boss, because he is less likely to screw them, These workers come here with nothing but the clothes on their back. They don't know how to use many of our tools. They train themselves and when they get enough money, they buy their own tools. They buy a car or truck, and usually keep their tools in the vehicle. The cars are broken into, and the tools stolen. Then the immigrants have to start all over again. This time they will try and rent a storage locker as a safe place for tools. Eventually they may find steady work. I knew one construction worker who took photography night classes at a JC, bought 2 cameras, and started a business doing wedding photographs and videos on the weekend. He worked 7 days a week, week after week. Once in a while he would get a day off, and sleep 24 hours.
Other illegals with less ambition got paid, got drunk, and the money they made seldom got back to the wife and kids in Mexico. Pretty soon they find out the wife and kids were living with another guy.
I felt sorry for most of them, and wished there was a way to sponsor them. I once asked them if they knew of a way I could help. "Well, you could adopt us." We all laughed at that one.

Twelve hours to get into the ER, most high school graduates aren't proficient in English or Math. Indians and Chinese are the new "elite" ruling class. We'll be coastal elites and the poor.
