Should they have used that kind of force on him, probably not but maybe don't get in the way of federal agents chasing down illegals. He said he was trying to prove that his workers were legal but they arrested 5 illegals so clearly there's more to the story than is in this video

Looks like a bunch of dudes just busted into his business and he runs up to meet them. Surely there are ways to do this without injuring an old man who is no threat to them. These agents seem out of control.

Like I said, the owner lied about not having illegals there and we can only see small clips of the interaction. And like I said, they probably didn't need to use that force but again we can only see small clips of the interaction.

I am in zero mood to give ICE any benefit of the doubt, given how many bad stories are out there. The onus is on them to clean up their act.

Maybe if they were trying to prove something to you, sure. Plenty of Americans are in full agreement with their actions. I might be wrong but I really haven't heard of one "news story" that I'm fully against ICE in.

And if you watched the video, it wasn't even ICE. They reported it was Border Patrol.

Border Patrol or ICE, I don't trust any of them.

Plenty of Americans are happy with it because they are happy with the police state as long as it's being used on people they don't like. It won't always be so, I promise you.

I don't like illegals getting free passes or criminals. I'll always be good with ICE and BP going after those people

They're not just hitting criminals, that's the problem.

To be clear, illegal immigrants are criminals but I said illegals and criminals.

ICE has never given a suitable explanation for why an ICE officer/special agent in the field in full tactical gear and face mask can't display a badge #. They clearly don't want to be held accountable when they act unlawfully (They want to operate under Hegseth's new (No) Rules of Engagement for the military).

Bro really? They don't want to be doxxed and harassed. Use your brain. It makes complete sense with how easy it is to find peoples information in today's age of technology. They want to protect themselves and their families when they go home at night, just like I assume you do as a law abiding American. Maybe if people weren't being doxxed left and right….

Your explanation applies to their excuse for wearing face masks. Since when does the public have access to link ICE badge numbers to faces?* The only explanation I have seen is that under federal rules they don't have to display badge numbers.

I understand why they don't wear badges when working in civilian clothes under cover.

* To file a complaint and identify an ICE officer from a badge number, you must submit a report to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) or Office of the Inspector General (OIG). ICE does not make officer names public based on badge numbers, but providing the badge number in a formal complaint is the key to triggering an internal investigation to identify the individual.

I doubt folks were handcuffed and detained who were cooperative and under suspicion of nothing, assuming they could be escorted out in an alternative manner that didn't jeopardize anyone's safety. It is okay to be skeptical. In an operation like this, mistakes are bound to happen. Ideally, the local police should handle this stuff but it appears liberal municipalities protect illegal immigrants gangs.

Fascinating discussion. It certainly seems that ICE is violating the rights of some citizens. Regrettable if true. And it would be a front-page issue...if we were living in 1990. Here in 2025, I'm more concerned about how my government used taxpayer dollars to wage a war against its lawful citizens.

And how we have imported countless murderers, rapists, jihadis, drug traffickers, sex traffickers, sleeper cell terrorists, etc.
# of AMERICANS harmed by illegals >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> # of people harmed by ICE.
Scoreboard.

And btw, there is nothing to stop the illegals from self-deporting and getting in the queue.

This is not America but it was America when the previous administration was paying to bring in millions of economic migrants? Nice definition of America you got there.

There's a very simple solution to this. Anyone resisting or interfering with ICE operations gets a one-way ticket to El Salvador. Stop resisting and comply. Your crowd is the one escalating this farce.

Not just illegals either.

And tell me, who and how many did they arrest? Also sorry I don't believe half the **** people are "quoting" ICE agents as saying. Show me the video where an ICE agent said that

Regardless of what they said, it's not acceptable that citizens are taken from their homes and handcuffed in a van, all for the offense of living in a building that may also have illegal immigrants in it.

Do you know that they weren't harboring, preventing ICE from accessing the building, etc.

I'm pretty sure the kids they handcuffed were not doing that.

OK, we can start by giving this guy a one-way ticket to El Salvador.

"Interfere with ICE operations" now seems to include "an old man runs to meet charging agents in the hallway." Think man, think.

My initial post was objecting to ICE not displaying badge numbers. You replied to that by saying it is not safe for ICE officers to show their faces. I reply that I understand the need for face masks but that badge numbers should be visible…..and you respond:

"You are not processing that I am 100% fine with them having no id and face masks. Don't break the law and you dont have to worry about it."

When the f@uck was this discussion ever about the fact that you are fine with the wearing of face masks and not displaying badge numbers? So you get dunked on in a discussion and then decide to shift to an issue never under discussion? If you don't like the issues I raise, then don't quote my posts and attempt to engage in a discussion.

*Yes, we know you would have been fine with Derek Chauvin wearing a face mask and no badge number the day he murdered George Floyd so that he could have gotten away with it if the police dept. was willing to give him cover like ICE would give cover to one of its agents that wrongfully murdered someone.

When you reckon Trump pardons Chauvin?

Serious question: when does this reasoning stop justifying every last breach of civil rights the current administration is going to engage in? Surely at some point "but the Democrats" is no longer a valid response?

The whole discussion was about whether face masks should be worn and badge numbers should be shown. Anything pertaining to that absolutely connects to the conversation being had. I know it's hard when people don't agree with you, it hurts your feelings but you'll be okay.
