Article says that Trump VP stakes is down to 4 men:

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum,
US Senators Marco Rubio of Florida,
Tim Scott of South Carolina,
JD Vance of Ohio.

Let's place our bets on these 4.

Burgum is too ugly, too smart. Trump likes "Central Casting". He also likes people that he can control, and since he can't argue with intelligence, Burgum is out.

Of course it won't be "Liddle Marco".

And let's face it, no matter how much Tim Scott kneels before his master, Donald Trump will never pick a Black man as his VP.

Yes, Doug Burgum is smarter than Donald Trump (as am I), but he knows how to subjugate himself and bow.

His goal is to become President, and the easiest route is being VP to the fat man who is "one-too-many Big Macs" from keeling over.

Trump's necessity is money. Trump doesn't have it but Burgum does.

So their interests coincide perfectly. Burgum will provide the money and Trump will provide the possibility to ascend to the Presidency.

What a collection of losers. I'm guessing Trump will pick Scott, thinking that will get him the minority vote in those swing states, or maybe Vance, getting him the hillbilly vote.

For this year's VP debate, I plan to be reorganizing my sock drawer.

I figure he already has the hillbilly vote.
Maybe Oso is right about Trump never having a black VP. To trump, it might be worse than having to go to d-day and hang around all those dead people.
Endless pictures together, time together. Travel, meetings. I mean, culturally there is ZERO match.
Okay, I retract.
Vance or Bergum.

Heard a pundit yesterday speculate for Burgum, as Trump probably thinks he looks more Vice Presidential than the others. And he could deliver North Dakota and all its electors!

When tRump doesn't pick Scott, Scott's engagement will end henceforth and forthwith. Bet your pension plan on that proposition at a casino. You heard it here first.

Joe Biden picked someone who banged Willie Brown and got less than 1% of the vote in the Democratic Primaries for VP. Imagine that.

Trump's popularity in The City is undeniable! I hear he's going to be in the Pride Parade, just to show his support for the LGBTQIS+ community. He'll probably rake in another $12 million that day, minimum!

We all know tRump uses the Thumb with Hair as a messenger:

*As tRump demonstrated during his rally in Vegas, his mental decline is pronounced. He cannot process a question or formulate a response. What he can do is launch into an angry high pitched voice stream of consciousness rant regarding his personal grievances.

Our government is so messed up...this isn't going to end well.

This is the natural progression when a President's response to the US educational crisis (talkin' 'bout Bush 1) is to call for the US to become Number One in math and science and nobody in particular thinks to advocate for the social studies and the humanities.

Education is about more than job preparation. We used to understand this.

If you don't buy the part about me "blaming" Bush1, let me clarify: His call was more of a symbol of the way people can feel about education, rather than the cause itself.

If you don't buy the part about education being more than job preparation, then we disagree. Sure that is one aspect, but it takes a educated citizenry to have a successful, functioning democracy. The study of the humanities and social sciences have a practical purpose in our world.

I think our misunderstanding is about too many generalities being used. My fault. I have no idea if Bush said this but I don't doubt you. I agree that education is way more than job preparation. My point was that we don't have reasonable government addressing the actual problems of our fast changing society.

"WASHINGTON Former President Donald Trump failed to impress everyone in a room full of top CEOs Thursday at the Business Roundtable's quarterly meeting, multiple attendees told CNBC.

"Trump doesn't know what he's talking about," said one CEO who was in the room, according to a person who heard the executive speaking. The CEO also said Trump did not explain how he planned to accomplish any of his policy proposals, that person said.

Several CEOs "said that [Trump] was remarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought [and] was all over the map," CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin reported Friday on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

CEOs at Trump meeting: He was 'meandering'

*It is becoming more clear why Hannity on Monday night suggested that tRump may be better served withdrawing from the debate. His free flowing crazy man act is lapped up like gravy by his base, but won't play so well at a debate in front of a world audience. Is not like he can turn off cray cray. It is not an act.

And yet they will all vote for him, and many will continue to support his campaign financially.

Because tax cuts.

In related news, if Trump wins and then gets the Constitution thrown out in hopes of being able to serve a third term, maybe it backfires and we can get Obama back in there! Trumpsters: "Oops!"
If Trump wins, it will be his third victory but he will only serve two terms. Meanwhile, Obama is serving his third term through Biden.

Donald Trump Suffers Abysmal Polling Week - Newsweek

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-presidential-election-polls-1915066

The debate is going to finish one of them off. Biden will either be destroyed because he actually is as senile as Fox News portrays or tRump craters because he is as unhinged as MSNBC claims.

If they both crash and burn then America is better off with a senile figurehead president with competent advisors than a micromanaging president who is a pathological liar with narcissistic personality disorder surrounded by incompetent advisors selected solely for their fealty.
