It's logical to assume that skilled workers would get hired elsewhere, at least some of them. If they didn't get hired elsewhere, they probably weren't very skilled.

I believe that most Cal grads would not have missed my point.
There is no need for any further clarification or insults on your part.

As my post made abundantly clear and substantiated by the recent layoffs at META, artificial intelligence is taking people's jobs away, even once highly-skilled and coveted software jobs.

That's reality.

As opposed to someone casually claiming that people that are highly-skilled will always find work.
That is no longer the case given the massive disruptive force on the job market called Ai.
