From 2021 to 2023 unauthorized immigrants had increased from 10.5 million to 14.0 million. By October 2024 The Economist was reporting that the US economy was the envy of the world.

What there was in actuality was a decent paying job shortage and people rightly refused to take bad jobs for slave labor wages, which is why dishonest people like you are always quoting job numbers and not poverty measures or consumer debt or bankruptcy filings. Now, is there still a decent paying job shortage? Of course there is. Does the Trump administration actually care about creating a smaller labor force that would create upward pressure on wages?
