You are absolutely correct.
Where I will hold Biden responsible is the stupid false hope indicating that the border is open when he was running in 2020. That provided false hope and led to mass migration.
However, Congress, including the Republicans, have failed to take any action or do anything resembling their job. All they do is campaign and point fingers. Why do the MAGa representatives believe that they get paid money from our tax revenues to campaign for the next election and hold stupid TV conferences? Submit impeachment charges that will never pass? People like MTG and Boebert are the ultimate welfare queens.
Because in a republic, you won't get everything you want. Perfection in everyone's eyes is not on the table. True leaders see the problem, identify what is possible and keep moving the ball forward.
MAGA republicans have never done that.
So screw the MAGA welfare queens like MGT and Boebert (who demonstrated why it is important to graduate from high school when she just utterly embarrassed herself on complete misunderstanding of the Loper case and what Chevron deference was), sexual predators or molestation enablers like Gaetz and Jordan who preach on morals, etc.
I have not been kind to Biden on this board. But one of the most amazing thing about America is the respect for the country and our ability to engage in peaceful transfer of power. Biden after resisting finally gave in to his better angels to put country over ambition. Yea, he was pressured. So was Trump. But Trump would rather burn down the country, have the VP overrule elections than give up power peacefully.
So, despite my lack of inspiration by Harris, I will vote for her. Because MAGA is inspirational. They inspire a former conservative like me to vote for anything not MAGA. We need two sane and grown up parties, and right now, MAGA is more of a stupid infant. And we need to take back the Republican Party from those like Trump, Gaetz, MTG, Jordan and Boebert and give it back to the adults who actually govern.
Then we can go after progressives and their stupid, unethical DAs like those who campaign on using the judiciary for political persecution while letting violent criminals walk free and abuse their power.
