Deportation is not the same as imprisonment. The latter is where there has been no due process and where the court says there needs to be.

The majority opinion in the Supreme Court case, Zadvydas v. Davis holds that aliens, although not citizens are entitled to Due Process of law. In Zadvydas,the Court held potentially permanent detention of an illegal immigrant awaiting deportation unconstitutional, as the illegal immigrant still had liberty rights. The Court held that an immigrant awaiting deportation could not be held for more than ninety days without a hearing providing, "freedom from imprisonment lies at the heart of the liberty protected by the Due Process Clause."

However, more importantly, the Supreme Court confirmed that all persons are protected and entitled to due process under the United States Constitution. The Court confirmed, "but once an alien enters the country, the legal circumstance changes, for the Due Process Clause applies to all 'persons' within the United States, including aliens, whether their presence here is lawful, unlawful, temporary, or permanent."

If they had done it the right way, the Biden administration would not have flown in migrants to the country illegally. But they did and lied to the American people when they said the borders were secure. And in doing so, Biden violated Article II of the U.S. Constitution where it states that the president shall enforce laws related to national security and border protection and Article IV where it states the federal government is obligated to protect states "against Invasion." While this applies to the government broadly, the president, as the chief executive, is responsible for executing this protection, such as deploying military forces or coordinating federal resources.
If we are a law abiding country then you can't just pick and choose which parts of the Constitution you will ignore. Democrats can't ignore the U.S. Constitution and expect that there won't be repercussions.

And all this time I thought Trump was the "Alpha Male" who took responsibility for his actions regarding deportation. They dug out some law that is supposed to be used during war time ie The Alien & Enemies of 1798. The courts have called shenanigans on its use and has barred the administration from using it. The President just admitted that there is no emergency on the border and that attempts to cross the border are low therefore the use of an emergency declaration is not kosher. He has hamstrung multiple industries that need the labor ie meat processing, farming, cattle farming, and construction to just name a few. This makes things more expensive if we can even get the things that we want. If he ran on reducing cost to families, he is failing spectacularly.
