In his 36 years of being in the U.S. after serving in the military, how come he did not become a citizen? Did he self-deport before he ever applied for naturalization?

You might have something there but it's hard for me to feel much of anything about that case or any of the others the Left is spilling tears over these days. We should forget that millions of legal immigrants who might actually have something to offer the country are being turned away simply because they respect our laws and play by the rules. We should forget about Islamization. We should forget about the millions of unvetted, unvaccinated illegals Biden flew in. We should forget about all the Somali fraud; afterall, we're a nation of fraudsters. We should forget about the luxury hotel rooms and the $3000/month EBT cards; having illegals receive far more per capita than Americans in welfare benefits is evidence of our unlimited wealth and generosity. Borders schmorders, every person on the planet deserves an American standard of living, especially if provided by the generosity of the American taxpayer. And most of all, we should forget about the fact that illegals were being given identification and registered to vote. We definitely want to forget about that. It's all about the gang-tatted freedom fighter with no skills and no respect for our laws. His rights trump all other priorities. Thank you for helping me to see the light. I repent in dust and ashes.

But you didn't answer my question. Why are you putting Latin American immigrants in the same bucket with Somalis in Minnesota and Arabs in Michigan (Dearborn)? Aren't these very different communities from very different cultures? What do you think is the commonality. As someone who has clearly given this a lot of thought you should be able to give a cogent answer.

They're all high-usage of welfare programs, which Democrats foster for a dependency culture / relationship, and likely three generations of Democrat voters to follow. (Marxism also big in Central and South America.)

New-school hate-America Democrats like Waltz and Omar don't care about vetting or following the law (rules), have likely committed multiple illegal violations themselves, and need to perpetuate their grift.

Welfare usage by Middle easterners in Europe reportedly sky high (50% plus), same for Somalis in the Twin Cities. (Culture of dependency.)

The better question is, why are you so obsessed with this guy, even if he isn't a wife-beating, human-trafficking gang banger as per reports? Do you really think he cares a lick about you, your values, your kin? What has he ever done that makes him entitled to a share in the prosperity of this country? It's bizarre. Actually, it's totally predictable. Trump is undoing Biden's reprehensible and totally indefensible immigration policies. Everything he does without exception must be opposed. It's the spirit of Mephistopheles. That's the Left in 2025. Optics and votes are all that matter. It's cynical and it's sad.

The Overton window on immigration has moved dramatically in the last 10 years. It would be nice if you people on the Left would at least admit that this has occurred. It must be VID (I bet movielover knows what I'm talking about).
