He admitted to shooting at the FBI agents. See the Felony Murder Rule.

Either way, justifying his Pardon/Commutation with a "he didn't do it" fall generally into my "case by case assessment" for P/C of people who commit violence against LEO. To wit - if he deserves P/C then so too could some of the J6 people who assaulted LEO. I don't care enough to figure out their assorted cases, so I'm saying this in the abstract.

I think the case was flawed against him. Attorneys and appellate judge who initially denied a new trial all believe he should be released.

Moreover, and perhaps most importantly, Peltier was not pardoned. Like the J6'ers. His sentence was commuted. His conviction still stands. And he isn't allowed to "roam" wherever. He sentence was commuted to home confinement. BIG difference there, tequila.

He's an 80yo man who has been jailed for nearly 50 years and whose guilt and trial circumstances are uncertain. He deserves to be free.

I wish President Trump had a little more Ross Perot in him.

There are reportedly over 100 emergency vehicles needing repair in Los Angeles. Solicit veteran mechanics w at least 20 years relevant experience to help remedy the situation. Bring in 20, 40 mechanics immediately, fly in parts they can't source locally. Line up parts suppliers to donate needed tools. Same for mold remediation and other serious delayed maintanence at fire houses.

Reservoir cover? Get it done immediately, and fill it.

If a quick Executive Summary concludes they're short on engine equipment (a Whistleblower alleged this to Michael Schellenberger), follow his suggestion: buy 100 used, well-maintained rigs, and strategically disperse them.

Eat your own dog food: immediately announce a program to thin and maintain Federal forests in California.

P.S. No photo ops for Newsom or the Mayor.
