Yet you defend them at every turn.

You can lie to yourself all you want, but don't waste your time lying to everyone else. We see your post history and it's pretty obvious where you stand.

You ignorantly assume all sorts of false negative things because I defend or rationalize some actions of police officers? You are messed up.

Lawful arrest requires probable cause. Reasonable suspicion does not allow custodial arrest. Stop and frisk does not mean bodyslam first, ask questions later. Free crim pro seminar for you, you're welcome.

https://www.seattle.gov/opa/programs/community-engagement/know-your-rights/police-stopped-me-on-the-street

"What are officers allowed to do during a street stop?
When officers detain someone on the street, they may take steps that are proportional to the crime they suspect them of committing.

For example, officers may hold an armed robbery suspect at gunpoint, place them in handcuffs, and frisk them. They can take these extreme steps because it's reasonable to think an armed robbery suspect is armed and might do something violent. It would not be permitted to do so when someone is just jaywalking.

When can officers arrest me during a stop?

If you physically obstruct the officers, such as by attempting to run away or refusing to follow their directions."

Free crim pro seminar for you. You are welcome.

I get my crim pro from statutes and cases, not websites. This may come as a surprise to you, but websites aren't very reliable legal sources.

….but I have to admit, when top law firms have one of their associates (aka @ssholesh@its) research and write an article on a specific area of law (i.e. easements, insurance coverage for fallen trees, etc,) to post on the firm's website for marketing purposes, it is a great source of free research. I always double checked the law and Shepardized the cited cases to cover my arse. I assume the good criminal defense firms do the same.

Yes I can. Can you cite any in support?

Also, it's important to note that even the text I assume you copied doesn't support what was done in this video. Here, the man was misidentified as having an outstanding warrant. He was not suspected of any contemporaneous crime, let alone a violent crime or possession of a weapon. Moreover, he never resisted arrest. He was talking calmly with one officer when another officer approached from behind and detained him forcefully and bodyslammed him without any other interaction. So whatever case(s) you cite should specifically endorse this conduct.

What was his warrant for? He was not talking calmly. The video just starts with him telling the cop call my sister in Florida, don't do this, call my sister right now. Is there more context? What is he referring to when he says, "don't do this?". Is there a video that starts earlier in the sequence of events? Also, at least I am quoting an actual source as opposed to just calling myself an expert.

He was not talking calmly? You're delusional. He says he was at the Western Union, just call my sister, you've got a cell phone, don't do this. He's pleading for the officer to use common sense and readily available methods to corroborate his story BECAUSE HE KNOWS THEY'VE GOT THE WRONG GUY. At this point, he gets jumped from behind.

EDIT: Everyone here with any legal experience knows the primary case I'm citing. I'll let them post it for you.

Don't do what? What is he telling the officer not to do? Innocent and guilty people regularly plead that they have the wrong guy. If it wasn't some "contemporaneous crime," which you stated as fact, what does him being at the Western Union have to do with anything?

Can you point me to the article where a cop purposely shot a two year old? If so, did they get charged with murder? Someone with brain cells can differentiate the points I am making with a situation where a cop murders a toddler. It is not cute to frame me as advocating for toddler murder because you are too biased to understand the difficulty cops have dealing with actual criminals and unruly suspects.

This is sad. Please stop resisting.

Tenth Judicial District Attorney Jeff Chostner in October chose not to charge the deputies in connection to Ward's death because he found they justifiably feared for their lives and acted reasonably. In interviews with investigators, McWhorter said Ward was grabbing his duty belt and he feared Ward would take his gun.

I wonder if there is a good way to secure guns so both officers can fire them right away if necessary, and they don't fear those wrestling with them from taking their guns and shooting them...
