We don't need to go there (teeth photos). Israel has reportedly confirmed his death. They have his DNA from when he was a prisoner and have presumably matched samples.

The document is likely fake/forged. I doubt very much someone like that would be carrying identification documents that were legit.

I perceive that today's words reflect Biden's actual world view / policy preference. It is election season and D's need Michigan so...**** happens.

I certainly hope that this leads Israel to draw down their war in Gaza. Not sure what else they can hope to accomplish there. We'll see.

Yes, when I asked for a number of Palestinians deaths that would be considered crossing the line and the largest number I gave was 1M dead the response was: "Until Hamas is wiped out." There is no line.

For me it's not a math equation; there is no number because Hamas must go. But I also don't see why Israel can't do something like caravan all non-combatants out into the desert and have refugee camps away from war, then go to town making dead terrorists. When done, assume rebuild responsibilities in Gaza and return the non-combatants.

At least you're trying. The Israeli response would be that the Israeli casualty count would be unacceptably high carrying out that more humanitarian invasion plan.

Police make a similar argument when asked why they didn't try to shoot an attacker approaching them with a bat or knife below center body mass.

Israel should drive the entire Gaza population into Egypt and annex the entire territory. Palestinians are scum... nobody in the civilized world should care what happens to them.

The Palestinian people elected Hamas but that was their only choice other than the PA, who was rejected for their profound corruption. Since then Palestinians have had 20 years of terror and brain washing. They are not free to think otherwise.

Israel has to have a partner to make peace / 2 state solution work. That means accepting Israel's right to exist. That partner does not currently exist. We have to hope the Palestinian people can get there once the yoke of Hamas oppression is lifted. A post Hamas transition state ala the US with Japan post WW2 may be necessary. Cultural and regional stuff maybe makes that a pollyanna-ish concept. The Palestinians haven't historically been easy … they've been removed from Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Egypt and maybe others for sewing instability. But I hope for something like that over accepting indiscriminate murder of civilians.
