Auntie Pam has already decided not to pursue adult charges on ANY juvenile. That includes the charged individual in the Sotelo Garcia brothers tragic killings.

She is following the same MO of hiding the truth. Every DA here knows the decision was already made. While I understand not charging most juveniles as adults, (I truly do), not charging or considering elevating individuals linked to multiple killings should at least merit consideration.

That "juvenile" who's over 18, is Involved with 7 shootings, hit 4, killed 2, and was already on probation for 245 + use of firearm at the time of the double murder, and confessed! The petition noted above has already been withdrawn.

My condolences to the Sotelo Garcia family. My condolences to what's left of Auntie Pam's office. The people here who fancy themselves as leaders are in Price's pocket for the most part. My condolences to Alameda County.

Criminals have long known that juveniles can "get away" with murder. It's also why more and more juveniles are responsible NOW for many of the killings, robberies and shootings. They and their adult FTOs are all aware that Auntie Pam is in essence riding shotgun with them!

I had many fond memories doing sleepovers at my grandparents apartment on Lawton Avenue when I was a young kid. We would go to A's games whenever the Detroit Tigers were in town and I would always go bowling on Sunday mornings at Rosie Duval's College Bowl on Broadway.

It's terribly sad what Oakland has become.

The Town (where I was bor reached a nadir in maybe the 1990s, though never as bad as some claimed, then began a renaissance. Slipped back a little, the past few years. Pamela Price is the Eastbay Chesa Boudin and won't last long, after people realized what they voted for. And the new mayor needs to "make the trains run on time".

There are a lot of good people in Oakland, mostly genuine type folks.

She's a liberal prosecutor who doesnt believe in using enhancements.

She's on record as "pledging to limit the use of "specials," enhancements and allegations in an effort to "bring balance back to sentencing" and reduce recidivism."

But had she not used the "gang" enhancement in this case (which gives her broad leeway presenting evidence at trial) she probably would have been dragged out of her office at City Hall by a mob.

Insufficient evidence? Hmm none of them told on each other ? Did they have top notch attorneys? Something is missing/off … I knew from the public announcement there were holes in these cases.

I haven't seen the evidence.

A case to keep your eye on is the DA's prosecution of OPD Phong Tran. Does the case derail before trial? If not, does he get acquitted? What will Tran's legal move be if those scenarios occur? Defamation and/or malicious prosecution action against DA and county?

Was that the guy who hired a fool to kill his wife ?

Just so I know the new rules, it is now not racists to highlight the criminal tendencies of Latinos - just the other remaining minority group.

We only look at history and cultural aspect when rationalizing criminal rate of certain races or ethnic groups but not others, but we need to make sure we refer to the latest version of the updated rules on anti-bigotry to make sure that we don't mistakenly stand against sanctioned bigotry.

The weird thing is he doesn't even realize that I am specifically talking about the situation in Oakland, which he initially posted about. I then clarified twice that I was talking about Oakland, but he still thinks I am making racial generalizations and then continued to post sexual misconduct of other races in other areas. He is too racially radicalized to have coherent, rational thoughts.
