The truth: Only a handful of the Deputy DA's that left the office are ballers. The majority, not so much. Many, many fine prosecutors stayed like they promised they would before the election when they joined the Teamster's Union to avoid being wrongfully discharged. Madame DA has been unable to terminate even one Deputy DA that joined the Teamsters. Why? No good cause.

It is true that by and large the new hires after the changing of the guard have no experience as prosecutors….just like their boss.

SFDA and Cal Bear Brooke Jenkins has said publicly on more than a few occasions that some of the judges in SF undermine her office's ability to effectively prosecute crimes, particularly against drug dealers.

There are some real nut cases on the Board of Supervisors, short of a few of them getting robbed, beat, stabbed, or shot, I don't see things significantly changing with regard to their permissive outlook.
