" Madyun told KRON4 on Friday, "This matter was reviewed by a veteran charging deputy district attorney in our office, who made a determination to defer this individual to our federal law enforcement partners. If additional information is discovered supporting charging this individual, the Alameda County District Attorney's Office will do so."

A sheriff's spokesperson said Madyun's statement was inaccurate. The violent criminal was taken off the streets because ACSO contacted federal law enforcement officials, not the ACDAO, the spokesperson said.

….. A sheriff's spokesperson told KRON4, "This is not the first time we have pointed out that the DA did not charge something. It's been more consistent. This is not a war on the DA's office this is us being honest with the public, with our community, about what's happening."

Waste management corruption is the reason Oakland has trash everywhere , them the removed public trash cans because they said it brings more trash !!!! So now around the corner instead of it being 5 - 6 public trash cans in 2 block radius now it's 3 and they stay full because illegal un licensed food businesses and residents who can't afford to wm fill them and the rats have steady diet.

If you need to dump some trash in San Leandro at the facility it starts at 70-80 dollars no mater how small or light the load is … thus most times it ends up on a street somewhere

When I was growing up, Oakland Scavenger Company was owned and operated exclusively by those of Italian descent (primarily Sicilian). In the mid 1970's Latino and Black employees filed a race discrimination claim against the company and I believe that broke that particular grip on the garbage gig for good.
