It's pretty obvious who's panicking by looking at this thread: It's the party who hasn't gotten any positive traction for several weeks now. They are (perhaps literally) crapping their pants, especially their leader. Yuk.

For 320 days she’s failed to bring American hostages home.
Now she just reads words.

Let me say this as clearly as I can:

I’m the sitting President of the United States.
I’m the nominee of the Democratic party.
I’m staying in the race.
Jill and I just spoke to @KamalaHarris — we can’t wait to watch her accept this historic nomination.

OK, now do this for the Republican Convention. I suspect Harris and Biden would be similarly the highest number of mentions by far. It's how politics are done these days. Neither side gives the most attention to the issues.MinotStateBeav said:

Gavin Newsom and leading Democrat podcasters mock the top-down, undemocratic nature of the Democrat Party's selection of Kamala Harris.

Newsom's getting soft. In the past, any criticism of CA was fighting words. You hit him in the nose, he'd kick you in the nuts. He must have seen a poll: voters like contrition. Don't obviscate, genuflect.
What am I saying...he's an incumbent Democrat in California. He can say and do anything he wants.
Post the reply he was about to give.bear2034 said:Cal88 said:

*Keep in mind that in his entire life tRump hasn't championed anything unless he is the major beneficiary of it. tRump's Anti Censorship Crusade is all about enabling and protecting the cat spray that flows from the mouth of a pathological liar. tRump is already a defamation judgment debtor in the sum of $88,000,000 (with a post judgment interest rate of 9 % per annum until paid in full/currently $9M per year since no payment has been made). Do you think tRump is going to try to dynamite the body of defamation laws under the pretext they have a "chilling effect" on his right to free speech?
