Truck driving can pay very well, most local drivers get weekends off. Not fancy, but a way up. Drive for someone, couch serf, buy your own truck. But right now it's dry - Biden economy.

And then what ? The societal issues have almost reached a critical mass point. Can't lock everyone up without paying 10's -100's millions of dollars to house them. If they can't get work to that makes enough to afford a place to live what are we spending $$$ for ?
Ohhh that's right the incentives to lock the up to be involuntary slaves in private prisons… the bad karma continues to build
Yes, we spend the money to put criminals in jail. Sucks to be us but that's better than the alternative. Especially since we see the recidivism rates under the current system and since we know it isn't just petty criminals who are being related into society.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as a voluntary slave. I wrote Jen Psaki, volunteering to be her slave, and received a form letter in reply, basically saying "thanks, but no thanks". So, no.

One Saturday morning coffee friend drove trucks for years and now runs his own truck brokerage company. He's done well despite a slew of self induced life challenges. He's swamped with the amount of dump truck requests.movielover said:

So Price's support was 53% in her 2022 election and it collapsed to just 34%.
Interestingly enough, the voters who turned against her were those who lived in the poorest areas of the county, and mostly populated by blacks and latino's.
Great story and man.Cal88 said:
