Apparently the Director of National Intelligence gave a briefing on the Hill which said that Russia is actively engaged to efforts to disparage Biden. What makes this more incredible is that everybody knew what they were going to do and warned Captain Catastrophe that this was coming and still he has not addressed Russian interference in the election with Putin. He has not warned Russia that their interference would not be tolerated. The Russian's are using social media to tear down a U.S. candidate for POTUS. The incompetence of Captain Catastrophe is just absolutely astounding. This time Russian interference could cause a backlash and cause more people to get out and vote causing wide margins in favor of the Dems.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Russia used Republican political operative Paul Manafort and the WikiLeaks website to try to help now-U.S. President Donald Trump win the 2016 election, a Republican-led Senate committee said in its final review of the matter on Tuesday.
WikiLeaks played a key role in Russia's effort to assist Republican Trump's campaign against Democrat Hillary Clinton and likely knew it was helping Russian intelligence, said the 966-page report, which is likely to be the most definitive public account of the 2016 election controversy.
The report found President Vladimir Putin personally directed the Russian efforts to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information damaging to Clinton.
Asked about the report at an event in Yuma, Arizona, Trump said: "I don't know anything about it. I didn't read it."

The senate released it's 5th and final bipartisan report on Russian Interference in the 2016 election. Among many other things, it provides further support that Trump lied in his written answers to Mueller. Of course, Republicans will distance themselves from the report because it doesn't exonerate Trump or his associates - far from it or gaslight that the report does exonerate Trump and his associates.
This is a 1,000 page report so a lot will be coming out about this in the next few days.

Manafort: "Taken as a whole, Manafort's high level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik and associates of Oleg Deripaska, represented a grave counterintelligence threat," the committee wrote.
Roger Stone/WikiLeaks: The committee found that then-candidate Trump and senior campaign officials attempted to obtain advance information about WikiLeaks' release of damaging emails from Roger Stone, who they believed had inside information. It also assessed that Trump spoke with Stone about WikiLeaks on "multiple occasions," despite the fact that the president said he did not recall doing so in written answers to special counsel Robert Mueller.
Michael Cohen/Russia business deal: The report found that by the end of 2015, Trump's former personal lawyer had "reached out to the Kremlin directly to solicit the Russian government's assistance" about building a Trump Tower in Moscow.

There is no new news on Russiagate. Collusion was not there. Russia did what Russia was always going to do, regardless of the happiness it gave Trump and his operatives, many of whom are in jail.
