Cohen set up a dummy company in Delaware to cover payments to Stormy. Apparently didn't try to block a 2011 article about the affair and both Stormy and Cohen repeatedly denied the affair multiple times post-NDA. Deliberately blew all that up. Does he face personal liability or does he believe bigger issues are out there for Trump so he's a loyal soldier taking a fall?

As thoroughly as I, personally, believe that (a) the Russians have Trump by the short hairs because of the money laundering which saved Trump's a*s when no legitimate money people would do so; (b) Trump is, in any case, tempermentally enamoured of authoritarianism and Putin in particular - not caring about the murder, torture and other oppression which is its stock-in-trade; and (c) there was cooperation between the Russian cyberwar on the election (intended to favor Trump) and both the Trump Campaign and the Republican Party (although, for the life of me, I don't know why Trump and/or the Republicans would have needed it since nobody knows better than them how to run a racist, divisive, vote-suppressive, American Campaign, including its cyber aspect), I don't think that today's news either speaks to either of those three points, or is relevant to Trump's claims that the issue of Trump (et al) "collusion" with Russia is a hoax. Timeline on Melania, Trump, and affairs is brutal. Got married in 2005. Same year that Trump bragged to Billy Bush about hitting on Nancy O'Dell. Trump and Bush weren't personal friends, so insane to be babbling to somebody about trying to bang one of their married colleagues.
The Playmate and Stormy relationships both happened in 2006 and the hush money agreements were signed in 2016. Highly doubtful that Trunp suddenly became faithful to Melania in 2007 and that everyone got paid hush money. Only questions are how many affairs were there, how many weren't paid off, and how many will come forward, That assumes all consensual relationships, but reasonable chance there will be harassment and/or assault allegations too.
AZ and TN are red states, so will be interesting to see if Martha McSalky/Kelll Ward and Marsha Blackburn dismiss all of the women. GOP already has a short bench of female statewide pols. Flake and Corker would be better bets in those states.
